To Pamela,
I don't know what kind of ferrets your vet declaws but they must be huge
mutants from outer space if they can destroy a whole living room.  It
should NEVER be done to a ferret it is mutilation, they need their toe
nails to walk properly.  JEERS to any vet that would ever consider doing it
to a ferret, I agree with you I will not even consider it for my 3 cats.  I
kind of look at it this way "  Pull out my toe nails and expect me to walk"
I can only think of the pain, I could never put any animal through that.
If my furniture or carpet meant that much to me I would not have the
animals.  No flames please thats only my feelings on the subject.
