When I got my ferret many years ago he was 6 weeks old. Every time he would
bit me to hard I would cry loudly (Ouch!!) in a very loud and high pitch
voice. The first times I did this he would look at me and then kiss where
he had bitten. After a few weeks of this my baby never bit me again. He
would bite by boy friend when they would play (the played hard) He bit other
people but never in 6 years did he ever bit me. Maybe it was because I was
his mother but he was smart and I think he learn not to bit me.

Thanks for all the help and information about the laws in California. If I
can do anything at all to help since I don't have a ferret right now and
therefor can't get into trouble let me know. I may not be able to wait
until the laws are changed to get another baby. After reading all the
wonderful letters and stories it makes me want to get one or two babies as
soon as possible. I might have to adopt one soon.

Thanks again
