I have reason to believe that my ferret Dervish is operating a secret
ferret beauty salon in her under-bed hidey-hole.  I'm not alarmed yet, I'm
giving her the benefit of the doubt for the time being.  But if strange
(yet perfectly coiffed and manicured) ferrets start emerging from under the
bed, I'm going to be upset.
 
Suspicious items found in hidey-hole:
--seven different colors of nail polish
--one round hairbrush
--one bottle of hairspray
--two lipstick tubes
--one water gun (to wet fur down for cutting purposes, I assume)
--one pair of tweezers
--one large, fluffy makeup brush
 
Suspicious behavior:
--caught attempting to drag hair dryer underneath bed
--excessive interest in my makeup-applying process
--rapt attention paid during the cutting of her nails
--caught reading Cosmopolitan magazine on three occasions
