This may be old news to others here, but I wasn't aware of it.

I went to look at that Mountain Ferret T-Shirt on Amazon, from
yesterday's link in FML. In the process, just for fun I took the shirt
part out of the search and just searched for "Mountain Ferret".

Much to my surprise, I stumbled upon a series of 5 books called the
Ferret Chronicles, by Richard Bach (of Johnathan Livingston Seagull
fame).

I did not know these existed. As I say, others here might have known
about them but it was a big surprise to me.
