It would be a simple enough thing to donate to S.O.S. if one could
choose from ALL available ferret shelters and sanctuaries, but due to
personal biases that's not possible.

Yes, some people were deceived in a recent auction, but it wasn't by
the person running the sanctuary, it was by someone she mistakenly put
her trust in and by another person who was accepting donations to the
sanctuary in question and using the money for her own shelter.

Before you start making accusations please make sure you've got your
facts straight.
