Dear Chris:

I recently glanced at the FAQ you supplied to FML. I
downloaded the one dated 22 October, 1992. The FAQ,
as it stood then, covered mostly administrative issues
(List access, Internet stuff, etc.) Have you considered
adding some of the medical information that comes
up recurrently? Information like:

This kind of information is highly valuable, and comes up time
and again. If (I hope not _when_) I need emergency veterinarial
information, I might not be able to scan all the old FMLs
for the right clues. Perhaps Nancy Hartman or another of the
knowledgeable regulars could provide the "seed" text. I would
volunteer to administer such a FAQ myself, but, quite
honestly, I do not feel qualified (being a new owner).

In order not to sound like a typical Net-whiner, here is my
own humble contribution to the FAQ:

----------(Begin)
A couple of good books about ferrets:

     [] _Ferrets:_A_Complete_Owner's_Manual_. Chuck and Fox
        Morton. Barron's, New York, 1985 (ISBN: 0-8120-2976-3).

     [] _A_Step-by-step_Book_about_Ferrets_. Jay and Mary
Field. T. F. H. Publications, Inc., Neptune City, NJ, 1987
        (ISBN: 0-86622-462-9).
----------(End)

Again, thanks for providing such an excellent service.

P.S. We need more Fun Ferret stories!!!! :-) .
