Hello fellow ferret lovers!

Just a friendly reminder about the Planned Ferrethood Championship Ferret
Show and Symposium coming up this Saturday, June 16th from 10 AM - 7 PM
in Pittsburgh! It will be held at the Palace Inn in Monroeville, PA, only
20 minutes outside of Pittsburgh. This is a very exciting event for all
involved!

There are over 300 ferrets entered in the show and over 20 vendors that
will be selling ferret goodies from hammocks to cages to jewelry to toys!
You name it! Bring your money and be prepared to spoil your ferrets rotten
(if they aren't already)!

Dr. Stephon will hold a discussion on ADV. Judging will be temporarily
suspended so all show participants may listen. The discussion will be
video-taped and offered to the public in case you cannot attend. Proceeds
made from the tape sales will go toward ADV research!

Dr. Wagner, a very knowledgeable Pittsburgh ferret vet, will be discussing
his research on the use of Lupron in combating adrenal disease. This
should be very informative for both the experienced and the inexperienced
ferret owner.

There are several other prominent people from the ferret community that
are joining us in support of the ADV testing show policy. We would like
to thank each of them from the bottom of our hearts. It means so very
much to us!

We will also be offering voluntary ADV testing for walk-ins who bring
ferrets with them to the show. Just as the testing that is being offered
Friday night and Saturday morning, the at-the-door testing that is being
offered will be Dr. Stephon's instant Elisa test. All testing will be
performed discretely and confidentially. Certification of test results
will be provided.

As always, proof of rabies (Imrab-3) and canine distemper (fervac-D)
vaccinations are required for admittance into the show.

Please, if you have any questions, feel free to contact anyone from the
list below or visit our website at
