Bag Balm is sold at Wal-Mart department store chains here in Nevada, in the
bath & beauty-aid section, by the other hand-lotion type stuff. I used to
be a bather at a groom shop, and my hands were completely destroyed by the
chemicals used there -- I mean, they were bright red and would crack open
and bleed daily. I would come home every day and coat my hands in Bag
Balm, then put gloves over them for an hour or so. Nothing else I used
ever helped as much. It's great stuff for humans. I guess it must be okay
for animals too, even ones that lick, since I understand it was originally
intended as a veterinary ointment for cow's udders.
