Our sweet little guy Popcorn left us this week.  He had fought a 10 month
battle with IBD and after changing food had made such a turn around.
He was a babyfood junkie.  He had gained back his weight and was putting
on the most beautiful golden brown winter coat.  We were calling him
Butter-Pop since he looked like he was dipped in butter.  You couldn't
tell he had ever been sick.  We took the guys to the park Saturday, he
was all over the place and had a great time.  Tuesday morning he was
very sick and dehydrated, took him to the vet, they kept him all day
and overnight.  He didn't make it through the night.  We should know
why soon.
 
Poppy was such a special guy.  He believed every shoe liner was his, but
you could keep the shoe.  He would look at you and toss his head up like
he was asking "Hey, whats up?  Poppy was always first on the scene if you
called for a ferret.  He was one of those rare cuddly fuzzies who loved
to be held, almost as much as he loved blanket rides.
 
I know you understand how heartbroken we are.  We miss him so mucn.  Give
your fuzzies an extra hug today, they are with us for such a short time.
