Your little stringy ferret poops with fur in them is not normal.  Your little
girl might be doing a lot of licking and taking off the other's fur.
Increase the Petromalt to 1/2 inch a day until the poops look normal, take a
fine tooth metal flea comb and give everyone a good combing, and change the
linens to remove any dead fur in the cage and sleeping areas.
