I think this is a case for an adrenal tumor most likely, Lost of hair on the
tail, lathargic and swollen vulva. It does sound like a adrenal problem. If
your vet does not know much about ferrets I suggest going to a new one. Have
you read the medical faq's yet on an adrenal tumor or insulinoma? If not go
