Hi FML'ers

Has anyone had experience with older bonded ferrets, where a pair have been
together for several years and one of them (in this case, the MF male) had
to be put to sleep from Lmphosarcoma)-We have a local owner who is very
concerned about the remaining old little MF girl, Sadie. She has 3 other
older ferrets that Sadie will have nothing to do with (they're in a
different cage). When introduced, Sadie bit the male on the face, and one
of the other girls tried to attack Sadie. Sadie is old and fragile. Sadie
is about 6-7 years old and has been with Sid for about 3-4 years. Any
suggestions to help Sadie cope? Please let us know- we've helped babysit
for Sadie and the other ferrets and our heart goes out to poor Sadie and
her owner. Thanks!
