HI

If anyone remembers, I love the SuperPet in my town. I think they give
the animals excellent care and are there for the consumer whenever they
need them even after they purchase their pet.

I went to SuperPet the other day to get some kitten food and of course I
went and checked up on the ferrets. So on the top row of the cage there
were a few all stretched out sleeping away. They were so tiny (I can't
even remember mine being that tiny!) Then I looked at the bottom of the
cage and started laughing so hard I was getting strange looks from
people!

You know those chinchilla bath containers?? Well they had one of those
in there without the dust and there was a little blankie in it. There
was about 5 baby ferrets in it - there were a ton of hammocks and other
things for them to sleep in but you know how it is. Well this one little
guy who was a really dark - almost black sable didn't fit in it. He
could only get his bottom end in there. So he was sleeping with his
butt in the container and his head on the ground with his little paws
over his ears. Head on the ground -body almost on top of his head like a
headstand. Sleeping!!! I worried for a moment that he might have been
sick so I ran over and asked the small animal person if I could hold him.
At first she didn't want to let me because he was the "biter" and they
usually keep him in the back with the other biters while they trained
them but they were older and kept trying to beat him up. I said I didn't
care and wanted to hold him anyhow. He was the sweetest thing I have
ever seen. Of course I say that with every ferret I hold. He kissed
my nose and snuggled into my chest and didn't even try to bite me. He
reminded me so much of my baby that I almost gave into ferret math. I'm
going out of town in a could of weeks to a different province for a few
weeks and then a couple of weeks after I get back I go to my parents for
a week so I thought I would wait and see if he is still there at the end
of Feb. Anyhow, the girl puts the ferret back in the cage and then he
got mad because he really didn't want to be in there - took a chomp right
out of the girls finger. My boyfriend and I were laughing so hard. I
swear he is just like my ferret's twin. He has to be. So now we are
going to go back every week to visit him.

He is so much like my ferret he even smells the same. Some ferrets kind
of smell like pee no matter how clean you keep everything. Like my mom's
ferrets - ew. Not that I am really bothered by it since there is a thing
called washing your hands and doing laundry *L* My ferret reminds me of
brown sugar and Doritos *L* This one smelt just like brown sugar and
Doritos too *LOL*

Ahhh.. I swear I have to have him. Stupid logical mind thinking *LOL*

Anyhow, that's about all I have to say.

Zama - the minty man (keeps stealing my mint leaves from my mint plant)
Mariposa - the eternal burrier (won't stop trying to bury stuff even tho
she isn't "really" burying anything)
