I named my 1st ferret Katie - after Katie Couric of NBC's today show.  She
showed great courage through her husband's colon cancer, the same disease
that took my mother.  It seemed sort of fitting.  So then, I had a Today
Show theme going.  Next came my chocolate, Matt (Lauer), who is of course a
hunk and a cutie.  Then, Al (Roker) who just happens to be a skinny little
hyper deaf DEW.  (whoops!)
 
As for excuses with the boss.  My boss DID understand that I was late
because I was feeding duck soup and that I had to run home at lunch and
leave early every day for a few weeks.  I guess working hard for him and
putting in those late hours for 8 years paid off!
