Just wanted to tell you all about the scary thing that happened to us last
night. The kids were playing in the bedroom and hallway, as they always do
and things were settling down for the evening. My husband and I were in
the living room watching TV. The living room, kitchen, and bathrooms are
off limits to my kids as this trailer is not at all ferret-proof nor are we
able to ferret-proof it.

Because we live in such an OLD trailer, the heating duct covers are no
longer screwed down, they have been stripped for years and our attempts at
fixing them have been useless. We have resorted to using heavy objects to
sit on top of the vent covers to keep the fuzzies out. Apparently, the dog
in his haste to find a toy had moved one of the crates, which was covering
the vent, just enough for my little Billy to find trouble.

So while we were watching TV the vent cover in the living room started
moving. We opened it up only to have Billy come crawling out of the
heating duct. I immediately went to find the other two who were, to my
amazment, curled up and snoozing comfortably under a empty crate that we
put upside down for them to play in. Can you imagine my fear when I opened
the vent cover????? :-0 I guess I should count my blessings. I have had
my kids for over a year and a half and this is the first time I have had
such a scare.

So, please make sure your babies are safe and check on them often. I can't
imagine what would have happened if the heat had come on!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

My the good lord bless all the furkids and keep them safe from harm. I
send prayers for all those sick babies and my condolences for all those who
have lost a very loved furbaby.

Jesse: Whaaaat (yawn) is it bed time already?
Sable: Hey, how come I have to go to bed, Billy was the bad one.
Billy: I just thought I would sneak in and visit you in the living room
        for a while.
