Glad your ferrets are still o.k. I live in Northern Arizona ... in
Heber-Overgaard. We had a high temperature of 77 yesterday. Yours down
in the Valley was 100. But, yeah ... its cooling off ...tomorrow is only
supposed to be 95 (then back up to 99 on Monday) in Phoenix. Our average
high for the year is 84 degrees up here. And that's too hot for me to
let any of my guys outside, much less keep them there, and my 17 year
old agrees ... its an animal and place-knowledge thing, not an old fogey
thing.

Good luck. Hopefully they'll be understanding about vet bills. I've
lived in Arizona all my life (and in Phoenix until a year ago) and
understand the terrain and the city. The predators are fierce. The heat
is killer. And you don't want to know about things like ticks and fleas
and other nasty little things.

But moving and having to give up friends because of it really blows ...
on that you have my sympathy. So do your ferrets.
