I received a call requesting help setting up some way to get a ferret
from Phoenix to St. Louis as soon as possible. The current owners are
both deaf and the landlord wants it out of their apartment. They know
a deaf friend near St. Louis who already has ferrets and other animals
and would take it. She cannot drive so I got called (by TTY) to ask
if I know some way to get it there. If there is still Ferrets Across
America or someone else who could set this up it would be wonderful.

My thought right now would be that if storms are a problem perhaps I
could hold the ferret in my rescue until a better time to drive. Also I
hope this doesn't turn into a big legal problem like I remember from a
couple years ago with someone fighting to keep her service ferret in
her apartment.
