"Are we there yet, yet, are we Tweak?"
Rio's oft repeated squeak.
Between her inquiries and begs
Nid is glad to have 8 legs
Two for ears and six to walk
While blocking out dear Rio's talk.

Tweak is learning spider lore
Things she'd never heard before
of web reflections aiding catch
and information without match
all about the buggy war
and in-vert-e-brately gore.

Then Nid answers their best guess
with info on the Wurm Express
and Monsters underneath the bed
Where'd that idea get in your head?
We know that we are adults here
without such monsters, without fear
Oh, yes, I see my fingers crossed.
Hmmm, there's ver-a-city lost.

So, we follow Mongoose Jones
on her quest for Chinese Tomes.

----
Narrator oxygen deprived
Please, forgive the rhymes contrived
during horrid ragweed season.
I reply, "I've lost my reason!"
That's the only thing you'll see
If you do complain to me.
Thankfully, they've been enjoyed
which leaves my spirit greatly buoyed
'cause when I am so short on air
it is best that you beware
especially these patter rhymes
which must be born within real time.
Fortunately, lingual stretching
often is more fun and fetching.
So accept apologies
and I hope I leave you pleased.

(If my asthma gets much worse I won't be able to write these, but I
know that will likely please as many as it deprives so I guess you'll
just live with it. ;-) )
