The amount of water is not as important as getting 1/8th of the pill
in at each time.  However, there is a better solution - your vet can
write you a prescription to be filled at your local pharmacy for a very
palatable liquid formulation....that way you don't have to mix it up
yourself, and can spend more time dispensing TLC...

[Quick Sukie note: this liquid pediatric Carafate formula is new nad goes
into them very easily.  Any pharmacy has this prescription med; we got it
right at the A&P pharmacy a short walk away.]
