I know this post is a little late, but here goes...
 
Petsmarts (everywhere, as far as I know) will be holding an employee-given
seminar on choosing the right small pet and how to care for it.  Since
Petsmart doesn't carry ferrets, most of their associates are not very
familiar with them, and I want to encourage you all to visit your local
Petsmarts on Saturday, the 7th, to talk to people with questions,
distribute ferret care brochures, let people know there are alternatives
to Petco babies, etc.  This should be a good opportunity to educate staff
and public alike.  : )
