I'm sure that those stories are true, but I have just one question.
Would the ferret respond the same way in public?

In order to be truly trained, a service animal would need to respond
to its owner's seizure the same way, every single time, no matter the
distractions.

The K-9 Rescue Phone can be found at the following URL.

It's basically a phone with a huge button that a service dog is trained
to press in order to get its handler outside help in an emergency. I'm
not sure if a ferret actually has the pawstrength to push the button.
I haven't purchased it yet, because it costs $264 including shipping.
