This is a wonderful example of ferret people.

On March 19th I was involved in an accident and I ended up with a
broken neck and broken ribs while in the hospital a patient rep came
by and asked if there was anyone she could call.

First up was the director of our ferret club and shelter, told her what
happened and she said she would call my son, get the key and go get my
babies. Deb took in six and Shannon took in the other five because they
knew I would worry myself about these guys until I knew they were safe.

Here I am a week later home, they still have my kids as I cannot bend
over to play with them or pick them up and put them to bed or anything
like that. No problem, as soon as I am well, they will bring them back
and all will be happy again.

This is the type people that we are, drop everything and go help
another ferret person.

My thanks to Deb and Shannon for housing my carpet sharks until I can
play with them again and to all the other club members who wished me
well during my time of recovery
