Hello all you happy people.

I purchased a futon couch, to replace my old fashioned couch. These are not
totally ferret-proof -- I know to watch for the kits when opening them, but
mine has an open frame of vertical slats that support the mattress, I was
planning on getting some plywood to put between the slats and the mattress
so that little paws, or worse little heads wouldn't get trapped. This is a
very nice sofa, and I don't want to ruin it by nailing or gluing this board
to it. Are there any other suggestions on how to fasten it, or something
else that could be used?
