I've had to syringe feed Peanut since last week because he developed
another severe bacterial infection and lost a large amount of weight in
a short period of time. This happened once before back in July. Anyway,
when it happened the first time, the vet advised me to try to get 90 cc's
in him a day. This time he is very enthusiastic about eating and finally
feels good enough to eat some kibble on his own. I think he needs more
than 90cc's but I dont know how much is too much?

Also, this morning he readily ate 47 cc's in one sitting--is this okay?

The duck soup that he's eating consists of a whole chicken breast
(probably 7 or 8 ounces), 3/4 cup to 1 cup of broth, a 6 or 7 inch
strip of Ferret-Vite and 1/2-3/4 cup of high quality kitten food.

Thanks!
