Problem: a ferret has been on top of the three-drawer high file cabinets;
how do you tell which one it was?
Solution: if the Rubbermaid boxes up there are open then it was Ashling;
if the radio was turned on then it was Jumpstart.

Spot weighs 3 and 1/2 ounces more than he did on Saturday and his grinding
is much reduced. He sure does hate Tagamet, though! The Carafate and Amoxi
go in more easily and we don't get shunned after them.

Every day Ashling is letting herself into 'Chopper's sick room and visiting
her.  It's very sweet.

Last night after a particularly long romp Warp got my attention with frantic
bumping against my leg then dashed to the door and looked back at me with a
"Well, hurry up!" look on her face, so I raced after and she led me right to
the cage then moved around nervously like a two year old with crossed legs.
There were other litter pots around but she had a particular one in mind for
her bladder, it seems, because that's what the emergency was. The last time
anyone got me like that I was called by Ashling, Meeteetse and Jumpstart --
seems Scooter had defeated a cardboard barrier but then it had turned and
collapsed so he was trapped behind a bookcase in a hidey hole they love but
we hate. My thanks for rescuing him must have lasted a staggering two
hours. The three rescuers watched the entire proceedings are were
exceedingly interested in the part the flashlight played. Amazingly,
flashlights DO have a function beyond ferret amusement.

Jason: most adrenal growths are neoplasias but not malignancies (though they
still need treatment and typically surgery (also, even when malignant there
are is a form which tends to be well encapsulated so curable by surgery
alone when caught early enough); hope Sammy's turns out well -- just know
you'd want to know that the word "cancer" may very likely not apply. Lee,
WOW, those sure are nesting behaviors; what are her estrogen levels like?
(Have seen nesting behaviors with nothing wrong, though, so could mean
nothing.) Hey, Elizabeth, is it an "outrigger" you have to keep your hand
exercised while you are in a cast?
