As many of you know, my ferret Blizzard died at the end of August and I
wanted very much to keep her skeleton. As a vet student I have the
resources available. A major mishap happened though. The man who
originally had her body to begin preparing it, messed up and threw away the
feet (tarsus on down) from my ferret's skeleton. Unfortunatly I didn't find
out until much later that this happened. I am very, very upset at him. It
wasn't a favor, I was paying him!

Anyway, now I have a skeleton with no feet. My request to fellow FMLers is
for replacement feet. Now, I don't want anyone to kill a ferret! However,
if there is a shelter or anyone in an appropriate position that would be
willing to help me, I would like to talk it over more. If there may be a
sick ferret that dies in a shelter, I would like to take the body use the
feet for my skeleton and other bones could be added to the vet schools
"exotic" collection for educational purposes. I don't know of any other way
to obtain the necessary bones to complete Blizzard's skeleton.

If you may be able to help me now or even if you think you may be able to
help me in the future, please email me and we can talk about details.
Obviously I am willing to pay for any shipping that may be necessary. Thank
you.
