With the ferret laws recently removed in the state of South Carolina, I and
my s/o are wanting to start a shelter for ferrets.  Having received the
shelter mailing list this morning, we noted that there are no shelters in
the state.  We are both very knowledgeable with ferrets and love them to
pieces.  However, we are not sure of the legal stance we will have to take
to start a shelter (licenses and such).  Any information you can give will
be GREATLY appreciated.
