I never thought I'd be sitting here in front of my computer so soon and
writing about one of my babies crossing the Rainbow Bridge. But here I am.

This Sunday, at 1:55 a.m. Wolfie (Wolfgang) crossed over. Wolfie was only
7 months old and the cause is unknown. I noticed that something was severly
wrong on Saturday at 6 p.m. when Wolfie was just kinda lying around instead
of running around. I had just let Wolfie and the other 3 out of their cages
when i got home so he wasn't tired. When I picked him up I noticed that his
belly was moving up and down like he was breathing. I pried open his mouth
to see if he was choking and noticed that his tongue was purple.

I immediately rushed him to the emrgency clinic where I was told that his
body temperature was low (98.6 out of a normal 101-103). We quickly put him
on a hot water bottle and gave him oral dextrose (sugar). for the little
time a spent with him, he seemed to get a litttle better. The doctor told
me that I would have hospitalize him. So I did.

I called periodically only to find out that his condition was not getting
better but getting worse. I tried to get to the clinic to be with him in
what I inevitable knew was going to be his last minutes, but I just didn't
get there on time. He was pronounced dead at 1:55 a.m. Sunday morning.

X-rays were taken but showed no blockage or other obvious problems. Toxic
elements were ruled out, so Wolfies death remains a mystery. No blood could
be drawn because of his weak condition, and no post-motum was performed.

The other 3 are doing fine (health-wise). 2 are my girlfirends, the other
one is my girl Christy. She's somewhat depressed, but has a new partner to
play with. I had to get her (and myself) another. The result is Junior, a
6-week old silver mitt male. He has similar features and markings to
Wolfie, and I wonder if they may be related (breeding-wise).

I'm sure Wolfie has all the balls and food he can eat (and boy can he eat).

Thanks for listening, and if anybody has any insight on what happened please
let me know.

"You are an ape and the son of an ape and the grandson of an ape. As for me,
I am nothing. I have no family name. My father was an unknown in the Sunrise
Land. I have done nothing. I come from nowhere and I go nowhere... I want
nothing and I fear nothing. If you kill me you will have accomplished
nothing, and no one will care. Let us pass." - Shike
