Perplexing ferret thoughts at Christmas time:

Why do humans talk about "stufffing the stockings" when they don't want
us to go in them?

Why do they put a tree in the house (of all places!) and then tell us not
to climb it?

Why do they dangle toys from the tree if they don't want us to play with
them?

How can you put a shiny star on top and not expect us to try and take it?

If it's the season of sharing, why can't I have a sip of your eggnogg?

Why to you put "gift" bags (one of our favorite things!) under the tree
and tell us not to go in them?

What's wrong with getting coal? It looks like fun!

Why leave cookies for Santa, we'll eat them if you don't want to!

Why dream of sugar plums when you can have raisins?!
