If you think your ferret might be ill, of course take her to the vet!!!!
Why chance it.  It could be a simple cold or it could be something worse but
a good ferret vet will help you determine what is wrong and whether or not
you should be worried.
 
As for the fleas, a couple of years ago we had a major flea infestation.  We
got rid of them by taking the dog and cat out for dipping, taking the
ferrets out for a bath with peppermint soap, and bombing the heck out of our
house.  It all has to be done at the same time or the fleas will simply be
transfering back and forth.  It may be necessary to repeat the process in 1
month.
