In two households now Tamiflu has made a marked difference both
apparently reducing the number who contracted it after the illness
was known to be in the households, and reducing the death rates. In
one household the deaths and the spread completely stopped after the
Tamiflu was used.

Tamiflu pretty much reduces viral replication. It is a neuraminidase
inhibitor. There are three drugs in that class (generic names:
oseltamivir which is Tamiflu, zanamivir, and peramivir).
