There are so many reasons to go, and so many things to look forward to -
it is hard to name them all. There are all the people to meet, all the
fun activities, and all the great speakers. But, because I am so
involved with ADV, my number one reason is that Dr. Wilson from the U of
GA will be there, as will Kate Pennick, the tech who runs tests on all
the samples we send down there. Kate will even be presenting a poster
talk on the work she has done as part of the ADV research.

Because I have emailed with both Dr. Wilson and Kate, and also spoken to
them both on the phone, it will be so nice to be able to put a face with
the names. I know that I really enjoyed meeting and talking with Dr.
Stevenson in Las Vegas.

Of course, there are all the people I have gotten to know through the FML
and other lists that will be there, and that I will finally get to meet
in person. That is something else I am looking forward to. And, the
chance to see other old friends face to face once again, that is another
reason.

And, did I mention the fun? When you put a roomful of ferret lovers
together, you are bound to have fun! And, surprises, too. The people
that plan these Symposiums always have some surprises in store for the
attendees.

So, will you be there? I hope so. If not, you will be missing out on a
wonderful weekend full of fun and learning.

I hope to see you all there. If you need more information, visit:
