What you may be seeing are mast cell tumors. They are usually benign
in ferrets, and sometimes just go away.

An excellent ointment for that is Panalog. It also goes by other names,
depending on the manufacturer. Quadritop, dermalone, and animax are a
few. (Same exact ingredients--just different companies.)

You can get this from your vet. It is excellent for both bacterial
issues, and fungal issues. It reduces inflammation & itching--and
often, the little raised, bloody circle goes away, after only a few
days of using this great stuff!
