I have been a lurker for some time. I read the post by AFA over the abuse
some time ago and didn't post then, however I am need to comment on this
incident. It appears that AFA said they are not a policing agency but I
guess now that policy has changed and they have decided to police at least
some things, maybe selective policing of the issues of their own choosing.
I have a few questions for them on this policy.
1>Why was it just sent to one person when I have seen more than that
identified on here as having ADV positive ferrets.
2> Is this for just the ones they have picked and identified as ADV
   positive and want to exclude.
3> Why was this policy not posted and made public so that everyone would
know about it and could comply or would they find out when they went to
the show and be turned away.
4> Why not make it manatory for all to show a ADV negative test result
before entering a show or did they not want themselves and friends to
have to spend the money every show to test their many ferrets.
5> Why was it posted 2 days before an AFA sponsered show so that it would
be impossible to obtain a certificate to attend the show.

It appears to me that they have selected one person to single out for this
testing proof. When they are finally done with her who is next on the AFA
hit list for persecution.

On this post I have thoughout used a generalization of AFA. However I do
not think that it is the AFA as a whole that is guilty here and I apologize
to the good members of this organization for lumping them in with the few
bad apples that are responsible. Perhaps it is time to look at the
leadership and see if it is indeed representing the organization the way
that the memebership as a whole would like.

Again this is just my opinion and you are free to disagree with it.
