Hi everyone! I just have a question about my baby boy Tundra. Today when I
got up for work, I went in the fuzzbutts bedroom to let them out for a run.
I went and got ready for work as usual, and went back in to play with them
for a few minutes. I noticed that he was laying on the floor with his head
in the flannel sleep sack. I went to pet him, and he didn't move much. I
picked him up, and he was very sluggish. He had some red mucus on his
rectum, and seemed very ill. I went into the bathroom to get him some
water, and when I returned there was a huge puddle of clear mucus with
traces of red in it. Then I was really scared.

I made an appointment with the vet after work, and went home to pick him up
early. I was really afraid of what I might find, but he seemed fine when I
got there. I brought him anyway, because I am a worry wart with my kids.
She took his temp, palpated his abdomen, and did a stool analysis.
Everything was perfect, and he was back to normal. We were both stumped,
but happy that he was fine.

Has anyone ever experienced this kind of thing? I'm very serious about him
looking as if he were close to death. I am curious as to what may have made
him so ill one minute, and fine the next.

Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated.

Dooks and kisses,
Joell (mom)
Adam(dad)
Maxx and Doogie (doggies)
Smokey, Obie, & Niko (kitties)
Rascal & Tundra (fuzzbutts)
Stimpy (fat little guinea pig)
