Well, I don't know about Stamford specifically, but ferrets are definitely
legal in CT. I lived in Madison, about an hour or so up I-95. That's when
I got Nixon. Ferrets are very easy to come by in CT and I haven't heard of
any town in CT that has them outlawed. I'd suggest calling Animal Control
in Stamford to make sure.

Sidenote: It's nice to not have to have to be a closet ferret owner
anymore!!! (add dook's and ferret war-dance here) and 5 more days till I
see Nixon! (add dook's...) :)

Brian
Nixon ( 79 more days till it's official)
Ashley (Oooh look, they brought a tree inside for me to pee on!!!!)
Quibby (Ashley, you stupid puppy)
Imus (Funny the tv says it's 30, I'm still nice and toasty)

[Moderator's note: A couple of ferret owners from MA have already indicated
they will no longer be anonymous posters. Others prefer to be more cautious
and wait until the official legalization day in March. If you prefer to
wait, that's fine - I'm not going to bug you until March 7th - though I am
of the opinion that it's pretty safe to announce yourself at this point. But
there's also no harm in waiting, of course. BIG]
