Hi all--
Stephen, I think it would be a very good idea to take Azusa to the vet for a
check up. The pet store where I got Amelia, a very good store, actually
recommended bringing her to the vet for a checkup, so that if there were any
health problems we'd know about it right away (of course, after ten minutes
with her it wasn't as though I could have returned her or anything like
that:). I don't think you mentioned Azusa's vaccination history, but if
she's young I'd imagine the rest of the distemper series and a rabies vac
are in order. I also forget whether this is your first ferret or not, but a
good vet can be a great source of knowledge for you.

The tent story had me LOL! Which kinda hurt, since I had my wisdom teeth
out yesterday, but thanks anyway!

Re: Muggsey-- I'm so sorry about what happened. It's horrible to entrust
the ones you love to another's care and find out that the person wasn't
trustworthy after all. It's a good thing that that person is away from your
child, and if the person does a lot of babysitting, you might want to let
other parents know what has happened. Condolences again.

Sympathy to everybody out there who has experienced losses,
