You should ask if they've called animal control. I've worked in
property management for years in Las Vegas, and when a tenant leaves
behind a pet, they will get their social security number from
management and put out a warrant for their arrest depending on the
circumstances.

But maybe abandoning a pet isn't illegal in Pennsylvania.
