I lost my Ozone last spring to a hairball.  After emergency surgery, she
collapsed - starvation, she made it through the surgery and the rest of the
day, but unfortunately, let go sometime in the night.  I saved her hairball as
a reminder.  In Calgary, we recommend linatone/laxatone at LEAST once a week,
but I have never found that to be adequate with the cats or ferrets.  We get
it at least every other day, if not daily.
