The welling being of ferrets is affected by the of misinformation that is
based on anecdotal "facts".   Please consider the following simple points.
 
1. Many sick ferrets will get better with nothing other that supportive
   care.
 
2. You could dump anything (carrot juice, octopus ink, boiled yak fat etc)
   on some sick ferrets and they would still get better.
 
3. The only positive information available on colloidal silver is from
   the people that make money from selling or using it.  Those that hype
   colliodal silver require that we ignore the entire medical community and
   trust the people who are selling the stuff.  After all everybody trusts
   used car dealers (The only honest ones have ferrets) and the cigarette
   companies.
 
4. The grey skin tone is NOT the issue.
 
5. By believing in a quack remedy you delay the proper treatment.  If
   antibiotics are what the animal really needs delaying the use of those
   antibiotics to try colloidal silver could result in severe harm to the
   animal.
