I actually heard about the Avon SSS on America Online from one of their Pethost
s.  It is a bath oil to be used after a shower, I doubt that putting it on a
fuzzie full strength would actually hurt them, but it would be very oily!
When you dilute it and put it on them, it acts as a moisturizer for their skin
and fur.  I have watched fuzzies lick at it and it hasn't done any harm at all
to them- if you think about it, mintone is mineral oil and Linatone- they are
oils.  I don't have any actual research or medical evidence that it doesn't
harm them, but it was told to me by a shelter owner/operator and a pretty
knowledgeable ferrt person.  I use it and it has helped my fuzzie through dry
winter weather when he was itchy and had dandruff- I sat him in a bucket of
water and SSS and sprayed him when he was itchy and he has been wonderful!
If anyone knows of good or bad effects of the SSS and water on fuzzies- I
would be interested to know!
