Over 250 people have called the Cleveland city kennel asking for the ferret
to be spared and offering to adopt him!  Calls were from as far away as New
Zealand (we love you Sammi!!!!!)
 
The ferret's life will be spared and in all likelihood he will be turned
over to Jean sometime next week. Once he is safely in her custody, we will
push to clear his name.
 
The parents are still in jail--can't make bail.  They have been charged with
8 different counts.  The kids were placed in emergency temporary custody of
social services.  Each of the FIVE different fathers wants custody of his
child.
 
Please thank Channel WJW-8 (who reported this) for their converage of the
ferret's story.  They plan on doing a followup on him later, and I hope they
