Howdy Gert Folks!

This Morning on Animal Planet's amazing pet videos there was a short piece
on 2 sable ferrets that had gotten into, and destroyed, a beanbag chair.
One of the guys was HUGE!!! It was so funny watching them try to shake
off the clingy little Styrofoam beads!!!

I have to tell everyone that has been following my saga that Quazimoto is
doing fine. Thanks to the wonderful folk here, and on APF. Saturday
before last I went to get him and he was staring into space, jerking, could
not walk, and falling over, this on top of the teeth grinding and loose
poopies. I gave him some ferretone and ferretvite, but he just kept
falling over. I rushed him to the vet that has been treating him, but this
time I took over and told the vet that I wanted him put on Baytrill and
carafate. The Amoxi and Metroniazol (sp) were not working. I also told
her I wanted his glucose levels tested as I thought we had a combination
of 2 problems, one being Helio, and the other being Insulinoma or
hypoglaucemia. His blood sugar was 55, and this was 1 hour after the
ferretvite and ferretone. She guessed his blood sugar had been 30-35
when I found him. She placed him on a dose of prednisone liquid, and
congratulated me on my diagnostic skills! LOL!!

2 weeks later I have my wonderful loving spastic Quazimoto back for the
first time in 3 months.

May the great spirit bless you all for participating on the FML and APF, so
I could read enough to give my vet some help.
