Hello FMLers!

I haven't posted in quite awhile (probably over a year) as I am generally a
few weeks behind in reading the list these days, and I hate to post things
that have become somewhat irrelevant in the time that has passed.

Anyway, to get to my point (Really, I DO have one.) my hubby and our merry
band (4 of our own and two foster ferrets belonging to friends on a lengthy
trip to Australia) have recently moved from Ithaca, NY to Woodbury, NY.
That's about 45 miles north of NYC just off of the Thruway, for reference.
There are several vets in the area who treat ferrets, but I am wondering how
to choose from them. Two, The All Pets Veterinary Hospital in Chester, and
the Newburgh Veterinary Hospital, state specifically in their ads that they
care for ferrets, but how can I find out if they really know what they are
doing?

Thanks.
Gail & Rob, Overprotective parents of:
Tigger "Ooh, stop cuddling me and just put me down and give me a raisin!"
Roo "Pick me up! How am I supposed to sleep without being cuddled?"
Emmett "Put me up on the computer desk so I can shove everything onto the
        floor!"
Muddy "Come here, so I can chomp on your arm!"
Dippy "I'm not afraid of those other ferrets just because they are 3 times
        my size!"
Macaroni "Is it nap time yet? I've been up almost 15 minutes, and I'm
          exhausted!"
