I just wanted to send a last minute reminder about our local Clearfield
County SPCA Calender Contest - you still have time to vote on-line for the
only ferrets in the contest, my Ziggy Stardust and Al.  Each vote on-line
(and you can only vote once per email address) gets the SPCA a $0.25
donation (= to one vote) from their sponsor, Clearfield Internet Access.

This is a fundraiser for the Clearfield County SPCA.  They are completely
community funded as they are not an ASPCA, and the calender contest is
their biggest fundraiser.  The calender contest comprises of the local
community having their animal's picture taken and having donation cans with
each picture available to the public.  The top 12 pictures that raise the
most money/votes ($0.25 = 1 vote) between April 1st and June 5th each get
to be on one month of the calender for 2000.  The next 12 are honorable
mentions and share the front inner cover.  They have never had a ferret in
their contest or in the calender and it is my goal to have Ziggy and Al's
picture in the next one!  All proceeds go to the Clearfield County SPCA,
which has been a wonderful contact for my organization, the Pennsylvania
Ferret Rescue Association.  This year's pictures are great (as usual) so
check them out.  Thank you!
 
I will let you know how much money & votes we've collected total when I
find out (hopefully within the next two weeks).  So far, Ziggy & Al have
over $21 worth of on-line votes (thank you!!!) and close to $100 in cash.
It may not be alot, but every vote counts and this SPCA is one worth
helping - the people there are great!
