I used a staple gun and less than a yard of denim ($6) to staple to the side
of my wood child gate by Gerry ($13) 24 inch high (on the site Without the
pressure pole). (note if you use tack type nails or screws- drill slightly
smaller holes 1st so wood doesn't crack.)Then I got a curtain tension rod
($3 & round) that needs nothing else to keep it up. I then put a piece of
PVC tube 1 inch shorter than pole when it slips into doorway. Slip the rod
thru and place 1/2 to 3/4 inch above gate (on Gerry gate that is at the top
of wood extended on sides.

Now they roll back to where they came from :)

Easy to remove and no damage to door jam. I place mine in my ferret
room/bedroom in the inside part near door itself for added bracing if they
try to pull it inward it bumps door too. Outward, the higher part of the
jam is their behind it.
