I have a ferret that has had symtoms like those of ece....grainy stool,
green or mucousy stool, and such ....one vet has told me that it was the
flu and prescribed flagyl....pharmisist tells me that that is only for a
intestinal parasite and that unless we sterilize the litter pans often the
ferret will just get reinfected. Also....that flagyl is not something you
would prescribe for the flu....what should I think of this vet....does
anyone know a reputable ferret vet in the Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
region???
