I do handle all my kits what ever species from 24 hours old and as I
have a good relationship with all my jill ferrets, doe rabbits and all
my female rodents, they all accept me looking in their nest.
 
With my partners help we handreared a litter of ferret kits it happened
when I got a call from a frantic woman who's jill decided that she had
had enough of them and rejected them at a few days old.
