Well, my 14 week old silver mitt ferret, from the second day I got him would
use the litter pan in his cage 100% of the time. However when he was outside
of the cage he would not go any where the litter pan. I had got to the point
where i just accepted the fact that i would have to follow him around with
kleenex. Well, to make the job easier i bought some of those moist
towlettes(alcohol free) that they sell for babies changing times to clean up
his mess. i do not know if these things removed the odor from his "spots" or
what...but he is using hos litterpan outside the cage consistantly now. A
matter of fact the first time he used it i was shocked...and i started
praising him lavishly as suggested, well, the little guy started running
back to the pan just so he could hear me say...."thats my good little Angel"

well anyways, the brand of the towlette i used was WASH A BYE BABY if anyone
would like to give this a try. would be interested in hearing the results.
