5 to 7 million domestic ferrets?! That's how many fuzzbeans live in the
U.S.A.?!
 
Let's be conservative and say there are at least 5 million domestic ferrets
in the U.S.  If each of those 5 million ferrets eats two raisins each (the
maximum recommended by Dr. Bruce Williams) per day, that's 10 million
raisins per day!  Now, let's say a typical box of raisins contains about
1,000 raisins.  That's 10,000 boxes of raisins.  Somehow we have to get the
message out to the agricultural lobby in California that ferrets are major
supporters of the California raisin industry!
